„Saudade“ is the Cape Verde expression for longing, and when the Cap Verdians speak about their barren island in the middle of the Atlantic, they do so with fondness.
al is an island of extremes. On the one hand its barren exterior has a hard beauty and on the other the Cape Verdians are lively and captivating: a tough life, they make their living mainly through fishing yet they will enthrall visitors to their island with sensational music. On Sal you will certainly enjoy one of the most varied windsurfing experiences in the world. This island, set some 1500 kilometres south of the Canary Islands, is especially blessed in the winter months with the Passat which at our station blows side shore onto the ocean. Many different spots - close to our Planet Station which is itself only 15 metres from the ocean - will tempt you to cruising, blasting or ripping in both moderate and radical wave conditions. The most well known of the hardcore wave spots is Punta Preta

The well oiled machine that is the team around Pezi and Willy will smoothly make this special place a great place for you with, amongst other things, many BBQs and beach parties at the hotel bar of the Leme Bedje, our hotel which is just a few metres away from our station and the sandy beach that stretches for kilometres.
